Underwhelming Stay with a Few Issues

My stay had some noticeable downsides. The lack of cleanliness was apparent. I saw dust on surfaces. The room's tea and coffee station was very basic with limited supplies. I found only one coffee sachet on arrival. The duvet was too heavy and warm (a lighter option would be appreciated).

I experienced several disappointments . The noise INSIDE the hotel was excessive. Children ran and shouted in the corridors LATE at night, disrupting the peace.

I appreciated the pool for my children. The location was convenient to the Gleneagle. It was only a short walk. Breakfast offered a hot selection in addition to a continental selection.
I had an issue with the bar service. I waited a long time for dessert. The staff seemed to forget my order because of where I sat.

Our double room felt recently updated. It was close to the pool so perfect with children. The location really helped for a relaxing stay and the staff was always kind.
The coffee in our room was all decaf, a small disappointment.
